Our two custom-designed Jones CMV-6 cartoners have the capability
to handle glued and tuck end flap cartons of various sizes.Our
system is manual-load, which makes it extremely versatile
to carton various items while minimizing tooling costs.
We have automatic and semi-automatic shrink-wrapping equipment.
Our shrink-wrapper can handle sizes that range from a minimum
of 2”W x 1/8”H x 3”L to a maximum of 16”W
x 6 1/2”H x 48”L. The heat ranges are from room
temperature to 400°F.
We have various machines that can apply pressure sensitive,
front and back labels, wrap-around labels, spot labels and
multiple labels. Our equipment handles labels up to 200 mm
high. We label empty bottles, filled product, finished packages
and empty flat cartons. We produce high quality thermal transfer
bar code labels which can be used for Club packs and various
fixes, as well as customizing generic shipping containers.
We do not handle glass containers.
We handle high volume assembly of floorstands, displays,
endcaps, clip strips, gravity fed displays, display ready
pallets and prepacks as well as specialty sample gift packs
or baskets. We specialize in off-line labour-intensive packaging
applications and make them economical for our customers.
Our sheet feeder facilitates ink jet coding and promotional
labeling of instant rebate coupons onto pamphlets, carton
flats, books and paper bags. Our state-of-the-art small character
ink jet coders imprint up to four lines of code. We also have
large character coders for printing on shipping containers,
which are capable of sequential numbering and date and time
coding applications. We have the capability to deboss lot
and expiry dating.
We have the capability to print Interleaved 2 of 5 bar codes
and UPC bar codes which are printed onto pressure-sensitive
labels and then applied to cartons, shippers or pallets. This
is a thermal transfer process.
Our RJS Bar Code Verifier can verify scannability of bar
codes on any printed component which we release on a customer’s
behalf.
Our two Garvens VL-2 High Speed Checkweighers can easily
be added to the end of any manual or automatic packaging line,
to verify accuracy. This equipment can detect variances within
one gram. We also have various Toledo counting scales.
We have Hot Melt Glue Dispensers for tip-on projects. This
offers our customers flexibility in maximizing copy surface
when promoting their products. The system allows application
of pouches to a surface which has printed copy, using removable
and replaceable pressure-sensitive glue. It can also handle
promotions where an item is attached to a finished pack using
pressure-sensitive removable adhesive that will not destroy
the copy.
We have two Kirk Rudy sheet feeders which can feed empty
flat cartons, empty paper bags or pamphlets in order to apply
instant rebate coupons, pouches or labels. They can also feed
items in order to apply ink jet coding of up to four lines
of information.
We have Emplex bag sealers which heat seal and trim the top
from printed or plain plastic bags.
We also offer horizontal flow wrapping services (also called
overwrapping or pillow pouches).
